1995 Cadillac El Dorado V8

When I select AC, heat or defrost the fan won't start . I'm hoping it's just a fuse. Where are the fuses located

fuse blocks are located to left of the steering column under the dashboard, behind a carpeted cover on right side of the dash, behind a panel inside the glove box in the trunk compartment or under the hood. #4 fuse 40 amp

Hi:
According to our Mitchell manual, it's located in the wiring harness near the blower motor.

The blower is out under the hood in the approximate center of the firewall, A black barrel shape about the size of a soup can, two wires going to it. You can determine if power and ground is at the motor by placing a test light across the two wires, and turning the system on. If it lights, you need a blower motor. Try tapping on this barrel(motor), and see if it tries to run. Sometimes dirty, worn, or sticking brushes can free, and provide an indication that you are on the right path. If it needs to be replaced, the best method is to remove the front two subrame bolts and lower the front of the engine.

I have a 1998 cadillac eldorado, the ac works fine, but the fan inside doesn't work most of the time. It will work here and there, but mostly doesn't work. I can feel cold air barely trickling out of the vents, but only when I'm moving. Do you think my blower motor is bad?

with an intermittent failure like that it is hard to diagnose, most likely it is the blower motor failing but best thing to do is wait and see if it gets worse. it could be wiring damaged as well so wiring at the control panel and the blower motor will need inspected
