2001 Cadillac DTS Car stutters & cuts off when sitting

2001 Cadillac DTS V8 All Wheel Drive 192K miles

2001 Cadillac DTS Deville keeps shutting off whenever I come to a stop. I have to keep starting the car and racing engine until I can finally get it into gear to move.

Make sure that all air snorkels after the mass airflow sensor are correctly installed and tight. Clean the throttle plate and idle air control valve passages. Is there a check engine light associated with this?

i have the same problem. no check engine alert with this.
