Car keeps cutting off while driving, however, will start right back up again. Now the Check engine light is on and had a diagnostics test done said Crank Shaft Sensor (upper and lower) are gone bad. Is this a common problem with this model Cadallic?

It is a common problem with your model year. You have relatively low miles for it's age. Sensors have seen a couple of updates and number changes along the way. Have them replaced, and the crankshaft variation relearned and you should be o.k.
