Replacing Shocks

2003 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive 68,100 miles

My 2003 DeVille has been driven 68,100 miles. Approximately at what mileage can I expect to replace the shocks? Recently I have noticed a bumpier ride over some nearby bad roads and I'm wondering "shocks? "

You can always do a bounce test where you push down on each corner of your car and let it bounce back. If it bounces too much then you have an obvious bad shock or strut at that corner.

Most suspension experts suggest replacing shocks every 60,000 miles.
