I have noticed a fairly loud screeching sound when turning (mostly the noise is when I turn left). Also there is a little rattle when I accelerate. What do you think the issue is? I replaced the wheel bearings less than a year ago.

Also, my car keeps telling me to service electrical system -- do you have any idea what is causing the notice? I haven't noticed anything different when it pops up.

Sounds like the main drive belt tensioner has failed and isnt keeping the belt tight. This will cause thep/s pump to scream and the alt to not put out enough power for thecar (service electrical system). With engine off, pop the hood and see if the belt is tight, if not the tensioner and belt may need replacing

In addition to Jack, also check for something in the drive seizing. It could be the alternator, or most likely the A/C compressor or compressor pulley bearing. This could explain the rattling as well.
