What is the name of the part that controls the air flow for a/c and heat inside the car under the dash

To control the mode(defrost/bi-level/vent), or the temperature?

I now know it is the mode door actuator. The problem I have now is were under the dash is it. And how do I replace it.

It is showing removal of the instrument panel carrier, which is the entire instrument panel. However, I dont know if that is the case. It is located next to the left temp actuator, which I believe is visible under the left side of the instrument panel. You may have to remove the insulator.
