2001 Cadillac Deville window repair

Lower the window fully. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove any screws that attach inside trim. Use screwdriver to carefully pry out control switch plates and disconnect all connectors. Remove the lock knob. Remove the screw from lock knob opening. Use a putty knife to pop the panel away from the door. Remove th panel.

you will bust the door panel if you do it EDs way, there are no screws. an it doesnt pry out you have to lift up on the panel to remove it, its hooked in

The prying out refers to the press in nylon fasteners around the perimeter of the door panel. Once They are out then you can lift the panel up and out.
