we have traction light on and wont go off with button on shifter, we dont know what this is for as we have just purchased this car. Please advise

This sounds like you have an ABS wheel speed sensor that is out. Follow this guide to scan to see which one you need to replace.

If you dont want to scan it you can check them by hand by following this guide.

Yep I tested the front ABS wheel speed sensors and the right one had no voltage output so I replaced it and now everything works! I love this site.
