starts right up cold, as long as its short trips, continues to start right up. Anything over 1/2 hour, it barely turns over. let sit 1/2 hour, and it starts right up, fast starter spin.
I checked and cleaned all connections, new battery from last spring (know its good), relaced both postive and negatoive battery bcables, and replaced starter.
My starter tested bad, got a rebuilt NAPA one, it was junk from the "start", so replaced that yesterday- still same problem.
will pop right off if parked on slight incline and rolled 10 feet. (manual)
I think timing is good enough- but could be- but keep coming back to the starter is bad once again.
Could it be the coil? When I've had a coil go out, it makes the engine miss, and the engine runs great once started (full power, etc which leads me to bleieve timing is off)
but could coil cause hard starting when hot?
I'm about to take that starter back again.
Help please![/quote:ecf40c985c]
but could coil cause hard starting when hot? Yup, if it looses its ability to build the magnetic field required for the secondary circuit in the ignition system
Are you overheating above that 1/2 hr
Recheck the ignition timing it will do that if its off-makes it look like something is wrong with the battery/starter.
