I WAS TOLD THAT A COIL IN THE COIL PACK ISN'T IGNITING THE SPARK PLUG, DO I HAVE TO BUY A NEW PACK?

yes the whole coil pack needs replaced, there in the top of the valve covers, make sure it comes with new spark plug boots
