Was told that after replacing seat airbag and airbag module(SDM) I had to go to dealer to have them plug into my auto with (tech 2) and do something to get my airbag light to go out. Is this the only way?

Hello –

Yes….I am sorry to say since that is a safety item they only have the equipment to check/reset the light. Should cost between 40-80 bucks.

Hello - This may help out some. Also, it looks like you may have some recalls on your vehicle. The dealer may fix these for free. Please contact the dealer service department, give them the VIN number of your car and have them check on these to see if they apply to you. Maybe since you are there and you do have some recalls due you can get them fixed for free.
