1999 Cadillac Deville LIGHTS ON DASH ABS AND TRACTION CONTR

JUST CHANGED THE BRAKES FRONT AND REAR. NOW THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS ON DASH STAY ON. TROUBLE CODES IN COMPUTER ARE P0603 SDM B1147 B1148 TCS C1234. HOW DO I CLEAR THESE CODES? AND WHY DID THEY APPEAR?

The tcs C1234 is the one to be addressed for your complaint. It is for LR wheel speed sensor open or shorted. My guess is that the sensor is disconnected after the brake service. It is fairly easy to do, especially if your removing caliper bracket bolts to get rotors off. The B1147/48 are right and left side airbag faults, if you have no SIR light-disregard, and the P0603 is ECM memory reset. It is typical if the battery has been discharged or disconnected, no cause for alarm either. It turns on no lights.

Thanks g, how do I remove the stored codes? Can I just disconnect the battery neg side or can this be done on board? Also is LR DRIVER SIDE? ALWAYS GET THAT CONFUSED !

Left relates to drivers side. If you push and hold off and warmer on the climate panel together, you will enter segment check, followed by code display. You can bypass all codes by pushing fan up. Press fan down until you reach abs and then fan up. You will then be able to select abs codes/abs clear codes by pressing fan down. Fan up to execute, and recirc button will exit diagnostics.
