every time i put the key in the ignition it says wait 3mins and remove key but it never works i replaced the tumbler switch and key already.please help me

If you have an ohmmeter, you could go to the connector at the base of the column. Find the two white wires that come out of an orange conduit, place the ohmmeter across it and check with the key in and rotated in all positions. If you have a steady resistance value in all positions, is it known that the correct value of key was replaced. If you have no resistance or open circuit, and you say the ignition cylinder was replaced, it could have been installed incorrectly. This has the possibility of cutting the wires the first time it is rotated.
