Engine Cooling problem
1999 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

If your anti-freeze is disappearing, you are using the wrong type of anti-freeze. Look at your radiator and follow the instructions. Once you put in the proper anti-freeze, your engine will stop burning oil and overheating. THE ANTIFREEZE YOU USE SHOULD NOT CONTAIN SILICATE.

Thanks for the info. , just because you have the wrong type of coolant doesn't necesarrily mean there will be coolant loss though. it also does not have anything to do with burning motor oil..
