1998 Cadillac Deville has a rattle in left front / and susp

i cannot find rattle in front left wheel knocks when i hit bumps / and car rides low can hear air pump running and it shuts off car just looks a little lower than normal not dragging

For the rattle, check and or disconnect the sway bar links. If the noise goes away, replace them. You won't feel any looseness in them with the wheels suspended off the ground, the suspension needs to be compressed, or weighted.
