This is my second attempt to get an answer, my caddy will show the flashing red light, low oil pressure stop engine????

Do you have accompanying engine noise of any kind? You could have a bad oil pressure sensor. If you don't have any noise, specifically top end, then I would suggest replacing the sensor. If it would make you more at ease, have the pressure tested.
