1996 Cadillac Deville RF ball joint

I went to my mechanic a while back and had some work done on my caddy and he said the right front ball joint is going out in it and so i took off the right front tire and i cant tell which is the ball joint i would rather replace it myself because its cheaper could anyone tell me where it is and if you can it would be much appreciated thanks!

LOWER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT Removal Raise and support vehicle. Allow lower control arms to hang free. Remove wheel. At lower control arm, disconnect link rod for road-sensing suspension sensor (if equipped). 1. Using Ball Joint Separator (J-35315 ), separate lower ball joint stud from steering knuckle. Drill a 1/8" pilot hole in ball joint rivets. Remove rivet heads with a 1/2" bit. Remove ball joint. 2. Installation Install new ball joint with nuts on top of ball joint (bolt heads below lower control arm). Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
