1996 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive 96000 miles

My service electrical soon lights comes on when I starts rhe car and it flashes if I dont push information button, is that I need a tune up ?.....

ck engine soon lite? push off and warmer on the heater controls with key in the on posision, this will scan the codes, write them down and post them, and I will try too help
