The blower is located in the engine compartment, on the firewall. You'll have to move some wires that are near the rear valve cover before removing it. You also might have to remove the front lower motor mount and the top brace near the top of the radiator, placing a bottle jack and a piece of wood on the radiator side of the oil pan mounting bolts & after removing the 2 top & 2 bottom nuts from the mount, jack the engine til the mount is free from the bolt holes, then move the mount out of the way (I don't think you'll be able to completely remove it, without removing more items) but out of the way is good. Then lower you jack and watch the exhaust pipe as you lower, stop just before the pipe hits the frame. This will tilt your engine foward so the rear valve cover allows clearance for the blower to be removed. This is the way I had to remove mine, but Before doing this try this, there are 3 mounting bolts on a black plate on the blower, if you remove them then pull the black plate straight off, & then there is another plate under it which has to be removed the same way, (no other bolts, just pull this straight off also)Now there are 5 mounting bolts around the blower, remove and take out the rest of the motor & the fan cage. I wish I'd known this before I removed the motor mount (hard to get at) I would have tried this first. Note: when you get it out take notice of the second plate you removed, for there are 3 blade terminals on the back side that must plug into the connectors of the windings, so you'll put it together properly. I'd definately try this first. Good luck.
