Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Cadillac Deville V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic unknow miles
I am only certain of the make and model, but guessing at related answers, above. My question is general. I gave my father's car, when he passed, to my boyfriend, and think he has not cared for it too well. He often says, now, that it will not start, and something about the battery, and that he gets a friend to help him to start it, perhaps recharge, but it is the cause that worries me. Could he be correct when he says the battery, or engine, whatever the part is, won't start always because he only drives the car a mile or so each day, and that it needs to be driven longer distances to maintain its ability to start? This seems strange to me, and I wondered if it is a repair problem, instead, that he just is not attending to. Thank you for any response,
