1995 Cadillac Deville high battery voltage

My Car tells me that it has high battery voltage sometimes. Sometimes when it shows that the car gets really slow and doesn't want to go for about 20 or 30 seconds. I just replaced the altenator and still the same problem

Have you also checked/replaced the battery?

I havn't changed the battery but when I checked it it reads 14 to 15 volts

I am assuming that is with the engine running?
