Electrical problem
1995 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Good day. I am writing to you from Canada.
My friend bought a 1995 Cadillac Deville Concours, and when he brought it home, it wouldn't start.
The battery was finished and he bought a new one.
Before he installed the new battery he noticed that the red wire on the DRL Module Model 90780, was disconnected. He installed the new battery hooked up the wire, and it cause the fuse, on the module to blow. He replaced the fuse, and then he changed the red wire, but here is the problem. All winter, after 1 or 2 times, after he would start the car, it would drain the new batteery, and then it would not start anymore. It stayed in the back yard all winter.
Suddenly the car, starts all the time but the problem, is that it goes from low voltage to high voltage, all the time, and it causes all the lights to light up on the cluster.
Why would it be on high voltage all the time, and why would all the lights, light up and flash on the cluster all the time.
