Noises problem
1995 Cadillac Deville V8 Automatic 130000 miles

when i crank my car it makes a loud noise. It sounds like when the car is already running and you try to crank it the sound that it makes.But is doesnt stop.Some say that it is the starter and others say that it is the flywheel.Can you help!!!

sounds like the drive for the starter is hanging up on the flywheel, you need a new starter, dont go cheap and buy an autozone one, buy dealer or napa
when starter is removed look at the flywheel teeth
