1993 Cadillac Deville V8 4.9 Starter or Solenoid

i have a 1993 cadillac deville with 4.9 8v with 120k miles runs great, but the starter was making a clicking noise and now it doesnt want to start would the be the starter or the starter soleniod? should i jsut replace the starter? if so how easy would that be?

How old is your battery-do you have clean/tight connections at battery/engine/ and starter

Could be something else other than the starter such as relay/NSS/Ignition switch.
