I CAN'T OPEN THE HOOD. I PULLED LEVER DOES NOT WORK ANY MORE, I USED PLIERS TO PULL CABLE WORK FOR A WHILE. DOES NOT WORK ANY MORE. I HAD HELP WHILE PULLING CABLE ,MY HELP WOULD PULL AND BANG ON HOOD BUT WILL NOT BULGE.ANY SOLUTION?

your best bet is to try to use a screwdriver to pop the hood open then replace the cable and mechanism it is probably broken from the force of using the pliers.
