im going through the floor board where to i drill my hole to take out my fuel pump i know you should drop the tank but i need to use the car now

drill peep holes first..
But drill shallow. After best guess a 1/4" pilot hole first then 3/8"
very dangerous and really slower than removing the tank.....better off doing it the right way
