Electrical problem V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 156000 miles

my fuel data is blank when I turn the car on so I can never tell how much fuel I have. I want to avoid costly repairs, I just want to know what can I do to fix it? Do you think it might be the BCM can you reset the BCM. And I checked and rechecked all the fuses

Yes it could be the BCM, it could be the fuel data center. Fuse #7 is in the I/P fuse block, it supplies ignition power to FDC. Other than that, all of the inputs for the vacuum fluorescent display are from the data line. Labeled as the ECM/BCM data line. If you have a source for some used parts, a u-pull it, or other salvage yard, that may be an option.

The BCM is located behind the glovebox. Here is a diagram so you can see (below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
