1991 Cadillac Deville car cut off while driving

i was driving home when the car just cut off. the car started right back up but i threw it into gear and drove about 100 feet and the car cut off again. the car starts back up but keeps cutting off when i throw it into gear.

It could be your fuel pump is on it's way out you would need to have your fuel filter changed and then check the fuel pressure

scan for codes, press off and warmer on the heater controls with key in the on posision, write them down and post them for me to look at. codes will appear in the heater controls digital area

I think E12 is cam reference its in the distributor, you have to pull it to get it out ( cam sensor ), replace the pick up coil also

E96 I think is EGR, take off the air cleaner, look at the throttle plates, are they real black looking? with car off, open the throttle plates fully, there are 2 tubes down in there for the EGR, are they plugged
