Difficulty removing my Driver's Side Half Axle

I am having difficulty removing my Driver's Side 1/2 Axle. When I use the 2 Jaw Puller to push the Axle through the Front Hub I can only get the Axle part of the way through the Hub before the Bollt of the 2 Jaw Puller starts to rub against one side of the Hubs Hole. I am afraid to go any further as the HUb Hole may get damaged. While attempting this I have the Steering Arm ball joint disassembled and the Front Wheels turned to the far left. Do you have any suggestions?

You have to pop the lower ball joint so that the strut and spindle can be pulled out to get the axle out of the hub

They make a special puller for this job if a large pry bar will not work, please check out the diagrams below for the instructions on how to remove the CV axles ands half shaft. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
