Hi there,

Thank you for the donation.

Do you feel this vibration in the steering & body or the body only?

Yes the vibration is felt through the steering and body only and does not start to vibrate until you reach approx 55mph. It vibrates until you go 65 mph or so and then it seems to smooth out some

If you feel it in the steering, it will be in the front end, suspension, steering and more likely tyres or rims, they must check for an out of round tyre and ensure that the steering & suspension is in perfect order.

I have had the all 4 wheels balanced 2 times the car is now in a shop they have done a pa. State inspection and they have checked frt end suspension steering tires, wheels, and and the car still has a vibration they are now checking the frt drive axles. They are also checking to see if this year model had a problem with the torque converter used in this automatic transmission that had caused a vibration. The reason we are trying to fix this car it is a 1988 cadillac sdn deville in excellant shape with only 70,000 miles on it. Can you check to see if transmission for this year did sometimes have a vibration problem.
Thank You Charles Maurer
