2006 Cadillac CTS air bag error code

My wife's CTS has an air bag error code that first occured right after the car turned over 50,000 miles. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to clear and reset the computer so the code doesn't display whenever the car is started?

If it is a hard fault, the light will remain on until it is repaired. Typically the light flashes 7 times and goes out if there is no problem.
