Is there a special tool used to take off the hose around the line to go to the transmission? What tools are needed to change a radiator in this make and model?

There is a special tool to disconnect the transmission cooler lines from the radiator. It is a thin wall type of removal tool that slides on the line, disengaging the retaining ring. I don't know of any aftermarket tools, kent-moore makes them for dealer use. If you need the kent-moore number, I can research it and get it to you.
