I had been hearing a knocking noise coming from the front of the car when turning the steering wheel only when moving out of park or drivng at very low spees. When driving 25 MPH or faster turning the steering wheel did not produce the knocking noise.

Car steered fine and handled properly during this time.
Then without warning while backing up I heard a bang.

When turning the steering wheel now driver side front wheel responds while passanger side front wheel does not move either left or right.
