2003 Cadillac CTS remotes wont work on vehicle

2003 Cadillac CTS 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

changed batteries, neither remote works to open or close or set alarm.

First thing is to check power door lock/unlock functions, and trunk release work with inside switches. The next check would be with a fob tester, to see if both fobs are sending signals. After that, attempting to program the remotes would be the next step. Depending on if that succeeded, or failed, would determine you next move.
