2003 Cadillac CTS Not going into gear.

2003 Cadillac CTS 6 cyl Automatic 67000 miles

My TC light came on and since then I have had problems getting my car into gear. My car starts no problem but will not get out of park. My TC light will not go away. I even tried to pushing the TC button like it asked me to do in my manual and still it would not go away. My manual also stated for me to rock my vehicle back and forth and then start it. Well it worked a few times but now it will not do anything but start and stay in park with the TC light on in the dashboard. Please advise. Oh, I also disconnected my cables to my battery to reset it and that did not work.

You'll need to have the computer scanned for codes. Unfortunately, this will cost you, as the only places with the scanner capable of reading you these kinds of codes will be a dealer or high-end shop.
