Does the white smoke have any odor? It is hard to say at 2 degrees what is happening, it is pretty hard on vehicles. Prior to it getting cold, it was fine I assume?

Yes the car was running fine before. The white smoke smells like gas. It runs but shakes and uses a quarter tank of gas to get a half a mile.

You could have an injector(s) that are stuck, or possible faulty engine coolant temp that is reading even colder than it actually is.

Ok. It ran good for a while last night, but after about a half hour it started shaking again. It didn't smoke any more tho.

If it keeps up, you will have to have some hands on diagnostics performed. With that, one could tell what cylinder(s) is misfiring, and determine ignition, fuel, or mechanical is at fault.
