I just purchased this primo condition caddy from a school teacher friend. two owner. he mentioned that the "service transmission" light was due to a small sensor deep within the transmission. He said "don't worry" the transmission will work fine the sensor error will not harm transmission and you should be fine. Is that so?? I noticed others with my same make and model were having similar tranny problems. is the common for this model??

It is not as common as it used to be. More than likely you are talking about the input speed sensor. It is not very deep into the trans to get it, the labor intensive part is getting the transmission out.
