1986 Cadillac Cimarron driveability

After driving from 45min to an hour, and slowing down in drive car stops. car will idle but when going to drive car stalls, later after car cools it will run in drive.

I think you have a problem with your IAC [ Idle Air Control Motor ]. It probably needs to be removed and cleaned, along with the throttle body and IAC passages. Since the car will idle when cold, I believe it's working OK, it just needs to be cleaned
