2000 Cadillac Catera, 3.0 V6, 45000miles

Ran a few errands this morning and the car started and ran fine, came home let it sit then went to start it about an hour later and it seems like it's not getting gas. The engine turns over but thats it. I plugged in my OBD reader and I get "P0727 - Engine Speed Circuit No Signal" does anyone know how to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
