When i drive my catera somewhere and go back to start it an hour or so later it will not start. The car tries to turn over but it sounds like it's not getting fuel, but when I go to start it the next day it starts right up. What could be wrong? A friend of mine says his pickup was doing the same thing and it turned out to be his fuel pump. It's under warrenty but I have a hundred dollar deductible. Would it be worth it for me to fix myself and do you know what the problem could be?

Might wanna check the fuel pressure to rule out a failing fuel pump

Sounds like a crank sensor that experiences high resistance during hot soak. It is not the easiest to replace, and would be over the $100 deductible. Often times there is a code associated with it, a P0335 in ecm history.
