2000 Cadillac Catera oil pressure

The car has great oil pressure reading while driving, but drops very low at a idle. just bought the car. Dealer changed oil and filter.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
