Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Cadillac Catera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The eninge quit running at high speed. It was deterimed that the timming belt broke. When the heads were removed one of the cams was found to be froze up and melted the race. The head was re-placed and all damaged parts replaced and reinstalled. Now there is no oil getting to the heads. The engine was tore down and all tthe passage ways cleaned out. The engine was put back together but the problem still exists. No oil to the heads.

Check oil pressure with mechanical gauge, if low could be the oil pump or damaged main bearings.
