1999 Cadillac Catera Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

interior lights come on and will not go off unless disconnect battery. will stay on until battery is dead. disconnect battery and wait, they will work again like supposed to for a little while then on they go again and won't turn off without disconnecting battery.

I would look for a sticking multifunction relay, that resets when power is removed and it cools. It is in a relay box, that looks like it is accessed through the left instrument panel side panel. I would say swap it with a similar, but it looks like it is unique. I am not able to send an illustration.
