Is there a thread on steps to replace the cps?

Not that I know of, I always suggest people take it in on the ground sof it has to be relearnt afterwords and youd end up towing it in to the dealership.

Beings as how it won't run over a few minutes now, its either tow it now or tow it later then. So might as well try to install the cps and save that amount from the dealer I guess.

Crank sensor is at the left rear of the engine

check if you have fuel pressure
check the codes if possible

No not entirely sure its the cps but symptoms point toward it.
Have no way of checking fuel pressure and codes. Car won't run long enough to get to Auto Zone to check codes. Have ordered and received the new cps so am going to install anyway. Thanks for your replys.

Code reader for OBDII should be cheep enough
try ebay or other sites you can get it for $30 and up
it will become very helpful
