Where is the water pump located in a 1999 Cadillac Catera? I am severely leaking coolant from somewhere in the rear of the motor. I cant see where it is coming from, but it is dripping down the transmission bellhousing.

A severe leak from the rear, is often times the heater control valve. The belt driven water pump is behind the center pulley, The smooth one with four bolts holding it. It also has two electric coolant pumps, one mounted to the radiator, and one on the RH frame rail by the large coolant pipe.
