1997 Catera heat and AC

I have a 1997 Catera with 70K miles. With the changing season, I find that I am not getting any heat from the heater, I am getting AC. The engine temperature is normal. No heat is going to the defroster either. What might be wrong? Is it something simple that I can fix?
