1997 Cadillac Catera Doesn't won't to go out of park.

It is happening more often that the car does not won't to go out of park, we have to keep pressing on the brakes and finally it moves. What should we do?

Have it diagnosed, assuming that the failure can be duplicated. There are several possibilities of a cause, from a brake switch, to the shift interlock solenoid.
