1997 Cadillac Catera accelerator seems to stiffen after dri

Took a trip from Minnesota to NY recently and during trip accelerator was fine; however, it appears to be hard or stiffened as I give gas now.

What's the answer to making this problem go away?

Throttle plate could be binding/ Accelerator cable kinked-
