Electrical problem
1984 Cadillac Brougham V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when i turn the key to start the fuel pump fuse blows. The car has been sitting for a while and i imagine their could be a corroded connection somewhere or a bad or cracked wire. But am i off track when thnking oil pressure switch? or one of the dual injectors are bad? or maybe even the ecm or map sensor? im ready to dive into this project but could you please set me in the right direction or at least where i should start. I already unplugged the fuel pump and the fuse still blows when key is turned to start, so its not the fuel pump. Any help would be better than none.....Thanks Joe.
