1993 Cadillac Allante anti freeze odor

Heater problem
1993 Cadillac Allante V8 Front Wheel Drive 125355 miles

when heater is on I smell antifreeze.
Is this likely a hose leak or nore likely
a heater core leak? Thanks, David

It is most likely the heater core, but having the system pressure tested will show if it is just leaking from the hose at the heater core.You can try using a bright flashlight to see if there are any signs of moisture at the heater hose connection under the hood.
